I like trivia as much as anyone. Knowing that a Subaru truck once had the model name Baja might help in a trivia round of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? It doesn't tell me which parts fit a particular configuration. A part label saying 'fits Manitowoc' is like that: it's a clue, not a specification.
Aftermarket quotes often start lower. I want to say we saw 25-30% savings on some consumables, but I didn't track every comparison carefully enough to quote an exact average. When comparing Manitowoc cranes parts, make it a real comparison. Compare evidence, compare full cost, and compare what happens when a part doesn't work. The lowest number on a quote doesn't mean the lowest cost. The correct part does.
